WHAT IS YOUTH VILLAGE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM?
Our Before and After School Program is for Elementary and Middle School children in the Fort Walton Beach area. Children will have outside time to play and also time to do their homework!
HOW MUCH DOES THE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM COST?
WHAT MAKES OUR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM DIFFERENT?
We limit our enrollment so that every child is known to the staff and volunteers and has his/her own special place in our hearts! We are not a “big-box” program but a “family-oriented,” “feel-good-and-safe” after school program and summer camp!
Youth Village is a non-profit organization where we care more about taking care of your child than being here to make money and it shows! When you entrust your child to us, we give them the same care and respect as we would our own children.
Youth Village has been a part of the community since 1999 and several of our original Youth Village students continue today as volunteers or staff members. We are truly a “family-oriented” after school program and summer camp!
DO I NEED TO SEND A SNACK EVERYDAY TO YOUTH VILLAGE?
No, Youth Village will provide tasty and nutritional morning and afternoon snacks every day at no additional cost to the parents. If your child is allergic to any of the foods that we provide, please bring food that your child is able and willing to eat. We will not provide a separate snack for any child that has allergies and require special diets.
WHAT ARE YOUTH VILLAGE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM HOURS?
Our hours are 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m, however our after school program is from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm and our before school hours starts at 7:00 am until we take the Mary Esther children to school around 8:05 am. Important Note: There will be a late fee charge if you pick up your child after 6:00 pm. Doors are locked at 6:00 pm.

WHEN ARE YOU CLOSED?
WHAT DO YOU DO AT YOUTH VILLAGE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM?
Youth Village after school program provides a variety of activities for your child after school. Children will have snack time. Then they will do outdoor games and activities. Children will also be given time to complete homework from school. Some days we have special guests to do fun, educational activities with the children!
WHO CAN ATTEND YOUTH VILLAGE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM?
Youth Village after school program is for children in grades K-8.
DOES YOUTH VILLAGE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION?
Yes. We provide transportation in Fort Walton Beach. We currently pick up from the following elementary school:
- Elliott Point Elementary
- Mary Esther Elementary
- Liza Jackson Preparatory School
Okaloosa County School Bus drops off at our door from the following elementary school:
- Mary Esther Elementary Bus (we will let you know closer to that time what the bus number is going to be)
DOES YOUTH VILLAGE PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS OR DISCOUNTS?

- We provide scholarships through our Help Us Grow Our Village tree sponsorship program. Scholarships are limited and we cannot guarantee a scholarships for all that apply.
- We provide military discounts and siblings discounts for those families with 3 or more children
